Last night I went to the beach after work to assemble some furniture for a beach cabana I'm sharing with some friends. It was after 9:30 and extremely quiet and calm. There weren't and stars and the only lights were from the parking lot and the occasional 747 flying over.
It was eerie and surreal to see the place so quiet, unlike it's usual hustle and bustle of people hanging out, eating, talking to loud, playing with (yelling at) their kids and drinking.
I finished screwing together the furniture and sat in a nice comfortable wooden chair and just rested. No one around, no worries, no one talking, no traffic or city noises. My brain emptied of stress and worries.
My mind is now clear, refreshed and ready to design.
